Wow, I can’t believe it’s Friday again, what’s more it’s the last Friday of April! These past few days after Easter definitely flew by very quickly, but we are getting closer and closer to oh,oh, those Suuummer nights, well-a, well-a, well-a…;-)

Wow! Hihetetlen, hogy újra péntek van, főleg hogy az utolsó péntek áprilisban. Ez a Húsvét utáni pár nap eszméletlen gyorsan elrepült …viszont egyre közelebb és közelebb kerülünk a forrrró nyári éjszakákhoz …brrr ;-)

Friday Favorites #1

Több oldalon is láttam már egy népszerű heti sorozatot, és mivel nagyon tetszik az ötlet, úgy döntöttem, én is beszállok. Friday Favorites címmel mostantól minden pénteken meg fogok osztani 5 olyan számomra kedves és/vagy inspiráló dolgot, amibe az adott héten futottam bele, elsősorban netezés közben.

Íme a legelső kedvenceim erről a hétről. Jó szórakozást! ;-)

Inspired by many other bloggers out there I decided to jump on the popular Friday Favorites bandwagon. It means that every Friday I’m going to share five of my favorite things that I came across throughout the week mainly while surfing on the Internet.

Először használom az Olivia Natural 100%-ig természetes alapanyagokból készült kozmetikumait és szappanjait. De amit már most tudok, hogy egyszerűen issssteni az illatuk :-)

These natural cosmetics and soaps are made by a Hungarian family manufacture, and this is the first time I use them. What I already know is that they smell oh so delicious :-)

Tudom, mit teszel idén Húsvétkor / I know what you'll do this Easter

Ciki, nem ciki, de az igazság az, hogy kb. tinédzser koromban festettem utoljára tojásokat. Mivel mostanság egyre nagyobb dózisban kezd visszatérni a kreativitás az életembe, nem meglepő, hogy Húsvét közeledtével ez a téma is előkerült. Kicsit last minute a poszt, mert már csak párat kell aludni a nyuszis ünnepig, szóval „csapjunk” is gyorsan a tojások közé! ;-)

Mindig is nyitott voltam a nem megszokott dolgokra, és ezennel meg is ígérem, hogy az alábbi technikák közül biztosan ki fogok próbálni legalább egyet jövő hét vasárnapig. Mert a hagyományos tojásfestésen túl léteznek ám egyéb kreatív módszerek is, amikkel igazán különlegessé teheted ezt az örömteli tavaszi ünnepet. Nézd csak!

As far as I remember, I haven’t painted eggs since I was a teenager. And I thought it’d be much fun to give this project a try again this year. It’s a kind of last minute blog post, as the Bunny holiday is just around the corner, so let’s „get” to the eggs quickly! ;-)

I’m always open to learn new things, and I hereby promise you that I will try at least one of the following techniques until next Sunday. Because beyond traditional egg painting there are so many other ways how you can make this lovely Spring holiday even more special.  

Ombre

A színátmenetes divathullámból idén természetesen a húsvéti tojások sem maradhatnak ki. Ez az egyik legegyszerűbb, ám annál látványosabb módszer. Ha folyamatosan egyre rövidebb ideig áztatod a tojásokat ugyanabban a festékben, mindig egy árnyalattal halványabbak lesznek a soron következő darabok. Ugye, milyen szuper jól néznek ki egymás mellé téve?

Ombre has lately become one of the hottest trends in fashion, beauty, home decor and so on. So why not create the ombre effect on your Easter eggs as well this year? In order to achieve different shades of the same color just leave the eggs in dye for varying lengths of time. And you’re all done! Quite simple, isn’t it? And the eggs look super cool next to each other!

Körömlakkos / Nail polish

Végre egy olyan ötlet, amihez hasznát veheted a fürdőszoba legeldugottabb zugában pihenő ezer éves maradék körömlakkoknak! Egészen egyedi, márványos hatást érhetsz el, ha belecsepegtetsz egy szobahőmérsékletű vízzel teli műanyag tálkába/pohárba a különböző színű körömlakkokból, picit elmaszatolod egy fogpiszkáló segítségével, majd belemártod a tojásokat (egyszerre csak egy darabot). Egyenesen művészi a végeredmény, nem?

Grab your old nail polishes and turn your Easter eggs into works of art. Drop some polish into a plastic bowl with room temperature water, swirl the colors by using a toothpick, and then dip the egg (one egg at a time) into it. The end result will be amazing with this unique marble effect.

Szalvétás / Paper napkin

Hímes tojás decoupage technikával? Miért is ne! Ráadásul, ha a szalvéta darabkákat enyhén felvert tojásfehérjével rögzíted a héjra, pár napon belül bátran el is fogyaszthatod az ünneplőbe öltöztetett főtt tojcikat. Egyszerűen nagyszerű! (Persze megenni szigorúan csak abban az esetben lehet, ha hűtőben tárolod az elkészítést követően is)

Decorating Easter eggs with decoupage? What a fabulous idea! What’s more, if you fix the paper napkin pieces with slightly beaten egg white onto the shell, and you keep the elegantly „dressed” eggs in the fridge after you’re done, they can be safely eaten within a few days. Easy-peasy and soooo cute!
